Privacy notice

What BetaMastery collects, why, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. Written for parents, in plain English.

Who this is for

BetaMastery is run by a parent for their family. The parent holds the account and makes every decision in it. Children sign in with a username their parent chooses, and they never give us an email address, a phone number or a location.

What we collect

About a parent

About a child

That is the whole list. No birthdate, no photograph, no email address, no phone number, no location, no contacts. We do not ask for a child’s real name anywhere.

Where it goes

Everything stays inside our own cloud account. There are no advertising networks, no analytics companies, no tracking pixels and no session recording anywhere in BetaMastery, and none in child mode in particular. Fonts and icons are served from our own servers, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that your child is studying.

Artificial intelligence

The AI works for the parent. It drafts lessons when you ask for one, and it can suggest a grade for a written answer when you press the button that asks for it. Those requests go to a model running inside our own cloud account.

A child can never cause anything to be sent to a model. Nothing a child does triggers an AI request, and the app enforces that on the server rather than relying on the screen design. Grade suggestions are off until you turn them on, and only you ever see them.

How long we keep things

Every category has a deletion date, and a scheduled job enforces it. These are the periods in force today, taken from the system itself rather than written out by hand:

What you can do

You do not need to email anyone to do any of this. It is all in the app, under Family.

Children

We tell children, on their own screens and in their own words, that a grown-up can see their study time, their points and the answers they give. There is a short page written for them at About you.

There are no leaderboards, no comparisons between children, no messaging between children, and no notifications sent to a child.

Asking us something

Write to the address on your account and we will answer. If you think we are holding something we should not, tell us and we will remove it.
